Support
We support and promote independence in the home with assistance for personal care, Medication management and meal preparation as well as much more. We are a registered Care at Home provider in Scotland, delivering personalised support to children, young people and adults with additional support needs. Our service is built around the principles of dignity, choice and independence, ensuring every individual receives high-quality, person-centred care in their own home and community. We work in line with the Health and Social Care Standards and GIRFEC, offering flexible 1:1 and group support that promotes daily living skills, confidence, and meaningful participation. Our trained staff focus on empowering each person to achieve their goals while ensuring safety, wellbeing and respect at all times.
Transport Training
At ACE Supporting Services we can support and learn together at the individual’s own pace to be able to safely travel on public transport in and around their own environment to increase independence.
Support for Life Skills
This includes learning to cook safely, learn how to prepare meals, bake and safely use kitchen utensils such as a kettle and taking into account everyday skills such as hoovering and washing. We at ACE Supporting Services also promote an understanding of the necessities of why we do these things.
Monetary Values
We encourage the individuals to learn basics about monetary values as we believe this is fundamental to being independent. By carrying out basic fun, interactive and practical applications to gain an understanding of these values which work for the individuals’ learning abilities.
Activities and Creativity in the premises
We at ACE Supporting Services also know that having fun is the best way to learn so making fun, interactive ways to learn is a fundamental part of our model and support. We also know how to have fun by having different activities throughout the day such as: Arts, Music, Crafts, Games, Discussions, Team Building Activities and much more.
