Building an organisation that works with children and young adults with special needs and disabilities is not a typical business venture. It is a DEEPLY PERSONAL AND HUMAN RESPONSIBILITY. It requires thoughtful organisation as the ABILITIES and CHALLENGES and NEED of every individual can vary widely.

One of the most critical components of this process is RECRUITING THE RIGHT PEOPLE. It’s not enough for someone to be qualified on paper, the ideal team member must poses A UNIQUE BLEND OF PERSONAL COMPETANCE, EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, PATIENCE, and A NATURAL AFFINITY for working with those who see and experience the world differently.

We look for individuals with that “SOMETHING SPECIAL” - the kind of personality, energy, and aura that makes our children and young adults feel SAFE, VALUED, and UNDERSTOOD. These are not just employees; they are mentors, role models, and in many ways, extended family.

On that note we are thrilled to introduce the two newest members of our team. Individuals who truly embody the spirit, compassion, and dedication our organisation stands for.

RUTH joins us as our dance and exercise expert with a background of inclusive movement and a deep understanding of how physical expression can support emotional and developmental growth. RUTH brings energy, creativity, and compassion into every session. Her work encourages our young people to explore their bodies, build confidence, and have fun in a safe and supportive space.

JORDAN is our painting and crafts artist, who is calm, presence and artistic talent create a welcoming and inspiring environment for creative exploration. JORDAN has a natural gift for connecting with young people through art, helping them to express themselves in unique and meaningful ways often without the need for words.

We are confident that both RUTH and JORDAN will become cherished members of our community, and we can’t wait for YOU and YOUR children to meet them.
