WELCOME TO OUR JOURNEY: A NEW beginning inspired by my daughter

Starting a business is always a leap of faith—but this one comes straight from the heart.

My name is Claire McGill, and I’m the proud parent of a beautiful daughter who has been diagnosed with Global Developmental Delay (GDD). Watching her grow, learn, and navigate the world in her own unique way has completely reshaped how I see learning, capability, and support.

She is my greatest teacher—and the inspiration behind this new venture.

But she’s not the only one shaping this journey.

My eldest daughter is at the helm of this business, bringing passion, creativity, and a deep personal connection to everything we do. Together, we are building something rooted in love, experience, and purpose.

 Why We Started This Business

For years, we searched for the right resources, spaces, and communities that could truly understand and support my daughter’s needs. Some existed—but many didn’t. That’s when we started asking: What if we created something better?

Something:

 • Designed specifically for children and young adults with learning disabilities

 • Rooted in compassion, patience, and real understanding

 • Built by a family who’s lived this experience

So, this business was born—not just to support my daughter, but to empower others like her to thrive, grow, and feel truly seen.

 What We’re All About

Our mission is to provide inclusive, supportive, and enriching experiences for children and young adults with learning disabilities, including GDD, autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent profiles.

Whether it’s through workshops, programs, community events, or resources for parents—we are here to build a space where everyone can feel:

     Safe

     Understood

     Empowered

     Valued

This is more than a business. It’s a movement for change, a celebration of neurodiversity, and a space where young people can discover their strengths—not just be defined by their struggles.

 From One Family to Another

If you’re a parent or caregiver reading this, please know—you’re not alone. There are so many of us walking this journey. Some days are tough, others are beautiful. But every day, our children teach us what true resilience looks like.

This blog will share:

• Our personal stories and lessons

• Tips and advice for navigating systems (education, therapy, etc.)

• Resources we wish we had earlier

• Behind-the-scenes of building this family-led business

• Celebrations of progress, big and small

Sincere as always – Claire x
